This new church building is located just south of
Savannah on Skidaway Island.
The building’s design
captures the feel of southern, coastal architecture rooted in
the traditions of Savannah and Charleston. It is designed to seat
450 parishioners. We were called in by Saint Peter’s
Parish to assist the local architect, Diedrich & Associates from
Atlanta. As part of the design team we provided a master plan
for the entire site, designed the overall appearance of the
buildings, designed the worship space including lighting and
furnishings and consulted through the entire construction of the
sanctuary building. The chancel furnishings and pews
are solid mahogany and the chancel floor is North Carolina
bluestone.
