As Liturgical
Design Consultant for this renovated church in Indianapolis, we
designed all the liturgical furnishings including the carved
stone baptismal font, altar table, pulpit, lectern, aumbry,
communion rails, clergy stalls, pavement lights, carved gold
leaf cross, pavement lights and the choir screen. The wood used
is quarter sawn white oak with traditional Gothic tracery and
detailing.
The addition of the three new bays of chancel area and organ
chamber at the former west end
The chancel is set of by the decorative painting of the ceiling
above. The sanctuary of the altar is established by a hanging
polychrome and gold leaf cross and the placement of four
monumental pavement lights.
The project
was featured on the cover of The American Organist
Magazine in the June 2008 issue.
